The Premium HID Kits Warehouse Digital Conversion kit comes with our high quality digital ballasts. These ballasts are manufactured with a higher quality of parts and level of quality control than our standard Digital ballast. The standard digital ballasts are manufactured to grade A standards whereas these premium kits are manufactured at grade A+ standards. What this means is that the number of defective productions are estimated at less than 1%. We offer a lifetime warranty on these ballasts. The associated bulbs come with our two year warranty.

The size of the ballasts are similar to our standard digital ballast.

Our digital ballasts offers the same electrical control as does the magnetic ballast, but with the digital model the current conforms to optimal levels of performance for each specific type and wattage of lamp, possible through digital circuitry. Magnetic ballasts weigh more than digital ones and they also run hotter than digital units. Because of the more consistent application of electrical current, the lamps last longer and function at a higher level using less power with a digital ballast than they might with a magnetic ballast. With a digital ballast, the light produced is more consistent. Magnetic ballasts, especially as they age, become more noisy when they operate, cause the HID lamps to flicker and also contribute to irregularities in the color that the lamp gives off.

This means you have a HID kit that lasts longer, runs more efficiently and eliminates any of the problems that normally would require capacitors or resistors to fix. The digital ballast is also slimmer and more compact.

All ballasts are waterproof and has been tested to function even when submerged in water and are proven to be heat resistant as well.

HID stands for High Intensity Discharge. It is a bulb which is filled with gas, once the gas heats up to a certain degree, it produces a light color. The degrees are measured in Kelvin due to the fact that they are so hot. HID is the same thing as xenon lights, which are sold on many luxury cars. HID are three times brighter than standard halogen bulbs and offer a longer projection distance.

Our kits are completely plug and play. Hi/Low (Bixenon) kits require additional wiring to the battery. Be sure to check your specific bulb application for your car to ensure proper fitment. Stock headlight harnesses plug directly into our adapter. Installation can be completed in minutes (depending upon vehicle).

Please note: For vehicles using a single 9004 bulb for both low and high beam , you will lose your high beam functionality unless purchasing a Hi/Low (Bixenon) Kit.
